The need for shelter beds generally exceeds the number of individuals who need them. The goal of Diversion programming is to help families avoid the shelter system or the experience of living unsheltered.
PROACTIVE SOLUTIONS
By employing a combination of strategies, Family Promise of Coastal Alabama aims to break the cycle of housing instability and create lasting positive outcomes for the families we serve.This includes helping households use their strengths, support networks, and community resources to secure housing stability outside of shelter. Case management is administered with a light touch, and some financial assistance may be available.
